Legal Aid Collier County:  $15,000

To help fund a full-time, experienced Housing & Consumer Unit attorney to meet increased demand


National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Collier County:  $20,000

To support extended hours at its Sarah Ann Drop-In Center, where clients receive practical assistance and participate in support groups


Collier Resource Center: $15,000

To support increased needs as a result of Hurricane Ian, such as housing, FEMA applications, medical assistance and more. 


River Park Community/NAACP of Collier County:  $8,000

To support Hurricane Ian relief, recovery and home rebuilding efforts in the River Park community


Bonita Springs Assistance Office:  $15,000

To provide food and financial services to survivors of Hurricane Ian, with plans to expand their services to include mental health services, money management programs and WIC


Lee County Legal Aid Society:  $20,000

To provide general funding for increased needs to provide free legal aid for low-income residents in navigating FEMA and insurance claims process as well as home and business rebuild strategies, including increased outreach efforts.


Cafe of Life, Inc.: $15,000

To fund the increased need to support clients with food, rent, utilities and medical/prescription costs.

To help fund a program coordinator and a program facilitator who oversee all 4 programs, the presenters, coaches and mentors plus educational materials, program space, Uber or bus passes, meals, and graduation. 


Our Mother’s Home of Southwest Florida:  $15,000

To purchase a car used to transport the young mothers and their children to medical appointments, the hospital, school pickup and outings.


Pace Center for Girls, Collier at Immokalee:  $15,000

Funds for the Pace Life Coaching and Healthy Transitions Program to bolster support to girls who have moved into their first year of transition services after leaving Pace. 


Project HELP, Inc.:  $20,000

Funds to purchase supplies used during therapy sessions, to support the healing process and to acquire an ADA forensic bed to ensure victims receive a forensic exam. Plus transportation to and from court, to provide shelter if adequate and safe housing if unavailable at the local shelter and to offer a language line service for clients not fluent in English.
